Mom said, "Listen to your heart." Annie said, "Don't think. Just do it." If Blossom knew this, she would believe herslef could be a rider of a blue dragonfly.

Blossom was a little fairy. Her Cloosing Day was coming. On Choosing Day, the last day of the school year, fairies leaving fairy school would stand in the centre of a magic fairy ring. Beautiful butterflies, moths and bees would fly down and choose a fairy to be its own special rider.

Only one, or maybe two, dragonflies flew into the fairy ring to pick out their riders. The dragonflies always chose the tallest, strongest and bravest fairies. The dragonflies and their riders would join the Fairy Queen's special guard, and flew alongside the Queen wherever she went.

Blossom wasn't the tallest, strongest and bravest fairy. She wanted a dragonfly very much but she thought she couldn't. She took her friend's advice and she thought really hard about butterflies, getting dragonflies out of her mind. Blossom did her best.

On Choose Day, Blossom stood in the fairy ring, she heard a blue dragonfly calling her name. But Blossom didn't believe she could be a dragonfly rider. She told herslef she must find a butterfly. The dragonfly thought Blossom refused her. She got confused and flew into a spider's web.

It was so dangerous. A spider was coming. Darter, the blue dragonfly cried for help. She cried loudly her rider's name, Blossom. Blossom heard finally. She found Darter and clambered up the web's threads and started to untangle Darter's wings.

Blossom saved Darter just before the spider could get her.

Blossom was not the tallest fairy. Maybe Blossom was not the strongest and bravest fairy. But Blossom was a very strong and brave fairy. She saved her dragonfly from a spider's web on Choose Day. I do believe that Blossom would be a very great guard of the Queen.
