Sid is a lucky boy. That's all I want to say.

Sid's parents are no loger living together. He stays in the old house with his mother and his dogs and cats. His father moves out. He doesn't understand. He hates his father.

Sid's life doesn't change a lot. He goes to school, he draws picture in class, he plays with friend, he has tea with mother.

But Sid's life do have changed. On the school bus, he doesn't talk to his friends. He always sits alone looking out of the window. After school, he likes to play hind and seek with his friends. He tries to stay lost, even after the game is over. He insists it is safe tucking away in a secret place.

Sid's mother drives him to his father at weekends. Sid's father doesn't like his mother any more but he love Sid. He lives in a bender. Oh, I think you had better read the book yourself to study the bender in the picture. Sid lives in the bender alone but he is very happy. What a odd man! Sid's father takes Sid to swimming. They have a good time. Sid's father and his friends also play music around the fire in evening. They are all excited. Sid feels muddled. He wants to hit father as hard as he can but give him a big hug at the same time.

I am certain of that Sid is a lucky boy. My best friend is six years old. She hasn't met her mother since her mother went away. We know the woman went abroad when my best friend was a little baby. Now my best friend calls my aunty mum, and my aunty takes care of her with her father just like my mum and papa take care of me. We live a very happy life together.

But my best friend told us, "I have never met her in my life. I love my mum. I hate her." My aunty told my best friend that she should not hate her own mother. My aunty told her that she would understand the mother living abroad when she grew up.

We don't understand now. We think Sid is lucky because he know who is his father and he know his father loves him. The next day we finished this book, My best friend says she is more lucky than Sid because she has a mum never leave her alone now.

We all love our family. We all love our parents. We all like living with our parents everyday. Don't some of the parents understand?

Thank goodness for that my parents understand! I am really the most lucky boy in the entire world!
